43 2 0 1 9 - 2 0 2 0 Kent & MOT Area Tournament Sponsor Sussex & Newark Area Tournament Sponsor Wilmington Area Tournament Sponsor 2020 AREA & STATE BOWLING TOURNAMENTS Four Area Bowling Tournaments were held on January 11 and 12 as Special Olympics Delaware athletes and Unified partners from across the state showcased their skills at Bowlero, New Castle Bowlerama, Brunswick Doverama, and Millsboro Bowling Lanes. Sponsors of the Area events were Edgewell, M&T Bank, and The Restaurant Store. Qualifying athletes were then able to move on to the State Bowling Tournament held on January 25 in Dover. More than 1,500 participants represented Special Olympics Delaware's five Area programs at the State Tournament. Events included singles, traditional doubles, Unified doubles, and ramp.
