103 2 0 1 9 - 2 0 2 0 Summer Games Presenting Sponsor Summer Games Support Sponsor 2020 SUMMER GAMES The 50th Special Olympics Delaware Summer Games was canceled due to health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic. Athletes and Unified partners from across the state would have competed in six sports — swimming, bocce, powerlifting, softball, tennis, and track and field. In addition, Young Athletes demonstrations involving children ages 2-7 were scheduled to take place. To replace the 2020 Summer Games, Special Olympics Delaware athletes, friends, and families were able to participate in a Spirit Week which concluded with a Zoom dance party hosted by Wired Up Entertainment.
