39 2 0 1 9 - 2 0 2 0 Presenting Sponsor Supporting Sponsors 2019 REINDEER RUN The annual Reindeer 5K Run & Romp, held on Friday, December 6, on the University of Delaware campus in Newark, was attended by hundreds of chip-timed runners and "just for fun" walkers as they made the trek along a candlelit course, all to benefit Special Olympics Delaware. The 5K Reindeer Run, presented by BNY Mellon, has award categories for all ages. Gore Running Wear ® sponsors the prizes for the 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-place male and female overall finishers and the 1st-place finishers in the masters division. This year marked the 14th Anniversary of the Reindeer Run with plenty of entertainment along the course (sponsored by Capital One), including a luminary-lit trail and delicious post-race refreshments. The event is supported by various local businesses and organizations. Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company hosts and supports this event, along with Delaware Law Enforcement and the City of Newark.
