Proprietor and Horticul- turist, Natalie Foss sources her cranberries from a family farm in Bandon, Oregon, which benefit from the longer growing season of the Pacific North- west. Being "late harvest" yields to larger, sweeter and deeper colored cranberries. Foss's advocacy for all things farm fresh has landed her a coveted spot on the panel for the Farm-to-Table International Symposium, to be held in New Orleans in August of 2014. Bartenders love her cranber- ries because they don't overtake the cocktail flavor. They are complimentary—perfect for garnishing vodka cocktails and sprucing up a Manhattan with a classy cranberry accent.. La Flaca by Bartender Jeremy Lake • 2 oz. American Star Vodka • ¾ oz. cranberry juice • 1 oz. lime juice • ⅓ oz. agave nectar • 30 drops liquid dandelion root • Seltzer water • Lounge Attire cranberries Combine all ingredients except Lounge Attire Cranberries and seltzer water in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 5 seconds. Open shaker and add 1 oz. of seltzer water. Strain cocktail into a tall glass filled with ice.
