GIN Created in a 200-year-old distillery located in the heart of England, Broker's Gin uses a traditional recipe of ten herbs and spices and 100% pure wheat spirit. Strong juniper and citrus notes carry the smooth spirit through the palate with a burst of dry fruit and then a lingering finish. Great for mixing, the botanicals and fruits in this spirit show up nicely in a variety of drinks. Topped with a dapper Bowler hat, the distinctive gin shows off its British personality and dedication to tradition. opped with Distinction T broker's promise • 2 oz. Broker's Gin • 2 oz. cranberry juice • 1 oz. citrus juice • 2 sliced strawberries- Place sliced strawberries in an Old Fashioned glass. Cover with ice, add all ingredients, stir and serve. SPRING/SUMMER 2014 • 11 Q: How can bartenders without a Kold Draft machine make bet- ter ice and better cocktails? A: Kold Draft is great, it is clear, and perfectly square, but the buck stops there. Great ice is cold ice. Take any metal sheet pan from the kitchen, fill it with a few inches of water. Once cold break it up with a mal- let or muddler and create your own organic shaped ice chunks. Great for shaking or serving a spirit on the rocks. - David Nepove, Director of Mixology, Northern California
