24 I SCL AWARDS 2021 DIANE WARREN – "FREE" THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN Diane Warren is one of the most prolific and successful contemporary songwriters of our time. Her songs have been featured in more than 100 motion pictures, resulting in 11 Oscar nominations. She is a Grammy winner with 15 nominations, a Golden Globe winner with five nominations, and an Emmy winner. Warren has penned nine No. 1 and 32 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001. Her original songs for recent films include "Free," performed by Charlie Puth for Disney's The One and Only Ivan and "Io Si (Seen)," performed by Laura Pausini for the Netflix film The Life Ahead. She also wrote the powerful anthem "The Change," performed by JoJo, which was adopted by the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris campaign. In spring 2021, she will release her first solo album, Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1 (via BMG). It will feature an all-star lineup of talent, including John Legend, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, Jason Derulo, Ty Dolla $ign, Jhené Aiko, LP, and Darius Rucker. Diane was honored as an SCL Ambassador at the Holiday Dinner 2016. SAVAN KOTECHA – "HUSAVIK" EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: THE STORY OF FIRE SAGA Savan Kotecha is a songwriter and producer whose list of accomplishments is akin to a who's who of the music industry by collaborating with artists like Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Usher, Maroon 5, Britney Spears, Camila Cabello, One Direction, and Sam Smith. He is a recipient of nine BMI Awards, 21 ASCAP Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and 17 Grammy nominations. FAT MAX GSUS – "HUSAVIK" EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: THE STORY OF FIRE SAGA Part of the Wolf Cousins songwriter/producer collective out of Stockholm, Sweden, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist Fat Max Gsus has worked with artists Jake Bugg, Bree Runway, Dizzee Rascal, Sofi Tukker, Breland, Alma, and the Grammy-winning band Ghost. He recently co-wrote and produced the song "Husavik" for the Netflix movie Eurovision, featuring Will Ferrell. "Husavik" is shortlisted for a 2021 Academy Award in the Best Original Song category and has also been nominated for Best Song at the 26th Critics' Choice Awards. NOMINEES FOR ORIGINAL
