{ SOMMjournal.com }  51 The Jordan Cuvée Champagne by AR Lenoble is a special selection of non- vintage brut, 500 cases of which were packaged exclusively for Jordan. This non-vintage brut is produced in AR Lenoble's cellars by Antoine using grapes from his family's vineyards and long-term growers. The blend is 30 percent Grand Cru Chardonnay from Chouilly, 35 percent Premier Cru Pinot Noir from Bisseuil and 35 percent Pinot Meunier from Damery. Thir ty-five percent of the blend is composed of reserve wines, and the base wine is from vintage 2012. This wine spent four years aging on the lees before it was released and has a dosage of 5g/l. Expressive with aromas of toast, nuts, golden apples and honeycomb, Jordan Cuvée Champagne gathers momentum on the palate building towards a pre - cise, chalky finish. The wine retails for $49 and will only be sold direct from the winery. According to Lisa Mattson, Director of Marketing and Communications at Jordan, the Jordan Cuvée Champagne by AR Lenoble will be poured at Jordan Estate Rewards private meals, Jordan dinner par ties and other culinary events, such as Spring at Jordan and Christmas at Jordan. It will also make a compli - mentary appearance at select winemaker dinners across the country hosted by Jordan staff. "With the debut of Jordan Cuvée," she says, "we've elevated our long-held tradition of serving sparkling wine to its ultimate expression, that of Champagne."
