The Bay Area studio specializes in original music, sound design, sonic branding and audio mix- ing and post. Prior to joining Swell, Velasco was with Format Entertainment, a music licensing and supervision company serving the entertainment and media industries. She's worked as a music coordinator on such films as Cocaine Bear, Unfrosted, Jerry and Marge Go Large and Shotgun Wedding, and as a music supervisor for a variety of short films. Prior to joining Format, she worked with brands and agencies as creative sync manager at Position Music. ADAM SHELL Adam Shell has joined Digital Orchard in Chalfont St. Giles, England, in the newly-created role of head of technology. The announcement follows the growth of the company's on-set and post produc- tion services. Shell brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having worked in the media production industry for over 20 years. Previously, he was director of workflow at YoYotta, supplying workflow software solutions for the production and post industries. In his new role, Shell will provide technical support to new and existing clients, while designing and implementing robust workflows for feature films, high-end television and commercial productions. He brings a strong understanding of NLE and post production software, as well as in-depth knowledge of camera workflows, color science, editorial, VFX and DI. KIRA BACA Fabric in Los Angeles has appointed Kira Baca, chief revenue officer at Atelier Creative Technologies, to its board of directors. Fabric provides data solutions that help entertainment industry companies connect people with content. The company's software enables customers to store identification, editorial, technical, discovery and AI-generated content metadata, and also provides a front end to modern media supply chains. Baca's career spans more than 25 years in the media & entertainment ser- vices and technology sector. She started her career with Technicolor Creative Services, and ascended to the position of VP of business development at Deluxe Digital Studios. She is currently serving as the chief revenue officer at Atelier Creative Technologies, which she moved to after several years as chief revenue officer of Rightsline. KRISTIN CHILDERS Brooklyn, NY-based independent content and pro- duction company SuperBloom has appointed Kristin Childers head of content production. Childers joins SuperBloom's leadership team and will work along- side head of branded entertainment Adam Milano to produce a new slate of branded content. Childers will spearhead SuperBloom's All Media Productions across all divisions. Prior to joining SuperBloom, she held roles across multiple production houses, including Party Land and Just Fix It Productions, and at brands that include Tumblr and Royal Caribbean. Her experience in developing television series, documentaries, digital shorts and immersive theater, and bringing together creators for next-level content collab- orations, will be instrumental in achieving SuperBloom's mission of reimagining production solutions for brands. DAN SHERWEN London edit house Tenthree recently welcomed editor Dan Sherwen to its roster as partner. Tenthree was founded 15 years ago by Billy Mead and has since expanded to occupy an entire building. Sherwen comes to the studio from Final Cut, where his role as director and editor saw him gar- ner recognition at various advertising festivals, includ- ing a Cannes Lions award for his role in The New York Times' "The Truth Takes a Journalist" campaign from Droga5 New York. In addition to his commercial credits, Sherwen has edited music videos for Chemical Brothers, U2, Massive Attack and George Michael. He won the inaugural UKMVA Best Music Video Editor award in 2008 and again in 2014. ANDREW WINGHART Sibling Films, with locations in New York and Los Angeles, has announced the addition of Andrew Winghart to its roster of directors. Winghart di- rected, choreographed, produced and composed the original score for his most recent project, Step Into the Light. Centering around a group of dancers from Columbia, MO, the film was shot at the Mizzou Arena, a state-of-the-art basketball facility that was transformed specifically for the production. Winghart has a background in choreography, and prior collaborations with artists such as Lorde, Muse, Solange and Billie Eilish. His directorial style is strongly influenced by music and movement. ZOË MOUNTAIN Nomad, the creative editorial company with inte- grated VFX, design and color, has added editor Zoë Mountain to its team. The studio has locations in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, London and Tokyo. Mountain's music video work includes Gryffin and Tinashe's Scandalous, as well as The Kid Laroi's Love Again. She also cut Demi Lovato's MTV VMA- nominated Swine video, which has garnered more than a million YouTube views to date. Beyond her music video work, Mountain also contributed to notable commercial and editorial projects, ranging from Glamour Magazine's "Woman of the Year" shoot, featuring poet Amanda Gorman, to campaigns for the likes of Calirosa Tequila. CORY MELIOUS Cory Melious is moving his boutique audio post and sound design studio Alt_Mix into MassiveMusic's Union Square space in New York City. Alt_Mix was primarily a remote operation since its launch in 2022, but will now be able to host in-person sessions. Melious has worked on projects for a range of clients, including YouTube, HBO, Avis, Meta, MLB, Verizon, Dell and WhatsApp. CHIARA USECHE Los Angeles-based production company Rakish has promoted Chiara Useche to head of sales/creative producer. Originally from Colombia, Useche has a deep and diverse background in the industry, having worked as an advertising executive, executive producer and graphic designer. She will immediately begin cultivating fresh relationships with Hero Mgmt. and Nikki Weiss & Co., the studio's recently-appointed West Coast and Midwest representation.
