PEOPLE www.postmagazine.com 33 POST SEPT/OCT 2023 JESSICA NORMAN Ghost VFX in Los Angeles has added feature film visual effects supervisor Jessica Norman to its team. Norman's career spans more than 25 years, with credits that include work on Wonder Woman, World War Z, Robin Hood and Watchmen. Prior to Ghost VFX, Norman was at Moving Picture Company (MPC), where she also served as a visual ef- fects supervisor. She has received two VES Award nominations, most recently for her work on the Ridley Scott film The Last Duel. Ghost VFX is part of Streamland Media's visual effects division. Norman will be based out of Ghost VFX's London studio, and will be available globally to service any project around the world. NATASHA ANNE FRANCIS Bot VFX in Montreal recently added Natasha Anne Francis to its team as an executive producer. With a career spanning 30 years and three continents, much of it as a VFX producer, Francis has made the rounds on countless shows, both from the facility side, as well as on the client side. Her credits include Hugo, Tron: Legacy, The Orville, Suicide Squad and Peter Pan & Wendy, among others. On the facility side, Francis has worked with Framestore, Digital Domain, Scanline, Pixomondo, Animal Logic and Zoic. Her client-side experience in- cludes work with Fox, Starz and MRC, where she also built on-set experience in both television and film as both a VFX producer and VFX supervisor. She even had exposure to the software side of visual effects, with time at Softimage in Montreal before the company was purchased by Microsoft. NOAH KENDAL Toronto's Smile + Wave has added Noah Kendal to its expanding editorial lineup for Canadian representa- tion. Hailing from The Beaches neighborhood, Kendal is an up-and-coming editor who has already seen success in the music video world via collaborations with Bad Bunny, Tainy, The Weeknd, J Balvin and Dua Lipa. His work on Drake's What's Next video earned him a nomination for "Best Editing" at the 2021 MTV Music Video Awards. Kendal has gone on to diversify his reel with a range of commercial proj- ects. Noteworthy among them are collaborations with Dick's Sporting Goods, Footlocker, Asics x Reigning Champ and SnapAR. His artful touch can also be seen in a stylish advertisement for Our Place featuring Selena Gomez. ADAM COLES, DANIEL KRAUS Cinelab Film & Digital, a full-service film and digital dailies facility in London, has appointed Adam Coles commercial director and Daniel Kraus head of busi- ness development — two newly-created roles. Coles will be responsible for overseeing sales growth and new marketing endeavors. His ap- pointment is part of Cinelab's expansion of their digital operations. He joins Cinelab from Panavision, where he was previ- ously group sales and business director. Kraus spent the last seven years at Mission, spearheading digital workflows and producing dailies for numerous complex projects in the region. In his new role, he will be focused on innovating services, developing new strategies and introducing new customers to Cinelab. JACKIE JAMES, LIANA ROSENBERG Audio post house Heard City, in New York City, has promoted Jackie James (top) to head of production/ EP and Liana Rosenberg (bottom) to EP. James be- gan her career at a feature animation & commercial production/post studio. After starting in produc- tion, she transitioned to the business development team, working closely with seasoned sales directors and mentors, and traveling throughout the US. In 2015, she joined a music/audio company as director of development. She joined Heard City in 2017. Rosenberg spent the last decade working in the post industry, holding roles such as senior pro- ducer, head of production and executive producer. She joined the studio in late 2021 having delivered various types of media during her career, includ- ing animation, podcasts, feature films, television/ streaming series and commercials.
