BRONX & BANDIT MOVE INTO NEW STUDIO SPACE NEW YORK CITY — Editing company Bandit (www.banditedit.com) and audio post studio Mr. Bronx (www.bronxaudio.com) recently moved into new studio space in Manhattan's Flatiron district. Previously located in SoHo, the compa- nies' new space spans 12,500-square-feet, with a custom infrastructure that includes studios, private workspaces, a bar/bistro and multiple common areas, as well as an in-house chef. Bandit and Mr. Bronx are sister companies within Alanda Ltd., which also includes Butter Music and Sound and Scout Design and Animation. With their new studios up and running, the Bandit and Mr. Bronx teams welcome adver- tising, production and entertainment clients for in-person collaboration. Bandit EP Laura Relovsky and Mr. Bronx EP Hanna Choi, along with Mr. Bronx founder/mixer David Wolfe, will continue to oversee the respective companies. Bandit is outfitted with four large edit bays, a Flame suite and a color correction studio. Editors rely on Facilis Technology's TerraBlock for shared storage. Mr. Bronx's footprint includes two 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos control rooms with iso- lation booths, and a third room configured for 5.1 surround. Studio A features a 160-inch projection screen, and all three rooms connect to a 145-square-foot ADR stage via Dante audio networking and live webcam feeds. Audio engi- neers can also use OBS to screencast visuals from multiple sources. Since moving into the new space, Bandit has completed work on cam- paigns for Vaping prevention, Dove, ACLU, Patrón, The Athletic, Spectrum and Boar's Head, to name a few. Mr. Bronx's audio suites have been tapped for campaigns for Adidas, Coca-Cola, American Express, LG, Sephora and Kia. The studio also contributed to the Supercell games Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars, and to the trailer for Hayao Miyazaki's The Boy and the Heron, which opens in the US this December. Additionally, the Mr. Bronx team completed work on the documentaries Lakota Nation vs. United States and Boil Alert.
