HILTON WASHINGTON WINS LOTTERY, DONATES TO TOURISM CARES A group of 27 Hilton Washington team members recently won a $10,000 Powerball jackpot, and gave much of the money back to the community. The Hilton Washington team members used their winnings to participate in Tourism Cares Volunteer Day on Sept. 11, helping to clean-up the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC. Tourism Cares is a non-profit that helps preserve cultural and historic sites around the world. FAIRMONT HOTELS & RESORTS CONTRIBUTES $5,000 TO AH&LEF ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN Fairmont Hotels & Resorts donated $5,000 to the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation's (AH&LEF) 2009 Annual Giving Campaign.
