More than 100 New York area
location professionals shared
a magical afternoon hosted
by LMGI business member

Sage Realty. LMGI was in the
house. Location managers
from DGA and ALMs, scouts
and coordinators from Local
817 and others all joined in for
an informative enlightening
evening.
The night was a chance
for Sage Realty hosts Alec
Fomin, Director of Member
Experience, Yvette Rivera,
Operations Manager/Film
Coordinator, Anna Germon,
Corporate Manager, Member
Experiences and Victoria
Gentile, Member Experiences,
to present the variety of office-
based filming, holding, event
space and skyline view.
LMGI President John Rakich
spoke of the scope the
influence LMGI has in the
awareness and respect of
the Location Departments
worldwide.
The event welcomed the two
new Mayor's Office of Media
and Entertainment (MOME)
Deputy Commissioners,
Kwame Amoaku and Thavary
Krouch. Location professionls
were able to meet and get
to know the upbeat and
future driven new power of
the Mayor's Film Office. The
evening was honored by the
talk of David Moy, Executive
Director of Field Operations
who humorously told a few
production stories about
some of the pros in the group.
All of the Mayor's Office
representatives welcomed
questions and current
interpretations of the varied
layers of film permitting in
the city.
In an almost "Breaking News"
moment, the "New NYC
Drone Policy" was perfectly
front and center with the
actual location manager
who had filed the first three
