Originally sold by owner Whitney Payne Lamy at her local farmer's market, the crackers are still mixed, rolled, baked, and cracked all by hand. It's fitting the company is based in Vermont, a state known for its delicious cheeses; these thin crackers are perfect for pairing with a cheese or charcuterie plate, whether it's with Castleton Governor's Cheddar flavor—made with local Vermont cheese, of course—Richmond Rosemary, or Middlebury Maple. And with three gluten-free flavors, they can even be enjoyed by the gluten-intolerant. Domaine des Terres Roug- es Mustards Mustard, ketchup, and mayo: the Big Three condiments. But we like something a little fancier when it comes to dressing up our cuisine. Enter Do- maine des Terres Rouges, French makers of liqueurs, aperitifs, and mustards. With mustard flavors like absinthe, tandoori, and truffle, condiments will step into the spotlight and be the stars of the show. While it may seem dif- ficult to know what to pair these with, the possibilities are endless: a tray full of fromage, charcuterie, and crackers or crostini would be perfect, or whisked into a vinaigrette for salad. Even a batch of twice-fried Belgian frites would the perfect complement for these intriguing flavors. 1883 Maison Routin Yuzu Citron Syrup If you're getting tired of plain old Rum and Coke or coffee with cream, it might be time to step up your beverage game. 1883 Maison Routin, a 130-year-old company based in Chambéry, in the heart of the French Alps, makes syrups that will class up any drink, alcoholic or otherwise. While they may have been around for over a century, the products they produce are anything but staid. We're partial to the zingy Yuzu Citron, but their flavors—categorized into music genres like Rock, Reggae, and Jazz—range from Orchid to Kiwi to the ever-trendy Pumpkin Spice. With over 30 flavors, the possibilities for creating drinks are endless; hot, cold, coffee, spirits—there's a flavor for everything.
