KnOXVILLe Steeped with Southern hospitality and tradition, Knoxville is an East Tennessee gem that provides incredi- ble nature, art, history and entertainment experiences. Knoxville is naturally blessed with the beauty of the shim- mering Tennessee River and the Great Smoky Mountains right in its backyard. The city is also surrounded by three national parks, numerous lakes and more than 25 golf courses. Now in its revitalization stage, downtown Knoxville is the perfect place to park the car and explore all of its offerings, like the Market Square District, a pedestrian- only area full of unique shops and boutiques, restaurants and nightlife. The open, fun and relaxed atmosphere of downtown Knoxville is a favorite among locals and visi- tors alike. Additionally, Knoxville has a bountiful history and numerous museums that illustrate the deep roots of the city and the heritage of its people.
