Manchesteropens music vault C ONWAY, MA — Composer and musician John Manchester is trying to change the way post pros think about and use royalty-free library music. He is opening Manchester Music’s (www.manchestermusiclibrary.com) extensive li- brary of royalty-free, original music for direct on- line access and offering two fee arrangements for library users. Pros can now select directly from Manchester In NYC, AudioEngine’s (www.audioengine.net) Tom Goldblatt mixed a spoof music video for Bounty that stars hip-hop legend Rev. Run. White Gloveis a follow-up to the paper towel company’s “Paper Towel Gang” virals, which feature rappers Mr. Absorbent and Dr. Spotless. Scooter Bartacci directed the piece for Brain- wash Films, which was conceived by agency Publicis. Chinagraph’s Thomas Ostuni handled the edit. The track was created by Mark Chu at Yessian Music. Music’s catalog of more than 500 musical pieces. Under Manchester’s online fee schedules, users can choose between an entire music collection annual blanket charge or a royalty-free, one-time (per track or CD) charge to download and use Manchester’s compositions.The pieces are the work of Manchester and a variety of national and international composers who range from talented young artists to veteran composer/musicians.
