The Trade Shows
Our LMGA Presence Opens Many Doors
Bruce Chudacoff:
I helped secure our first booth
at the Association of Film Commissioners International
(AFCI) trade show. We presented our first seminar, "Py-
rotechnics on Location," moderated by John Grant with
Thom Anable, Bill Bowling, the LAFD and others. Kathy
McCurdy coordinated the booth and the volunteers who
helped set it up.
Kathy McCurdy: It was a crash course in pipe
and drape! I went around to all the international booths,
introducing the LMGA and inviting people to come to our
booth and see what we were about.
I met Priscilla Philippi from The Royal Jordan Film
Commission, and she asked me to help put together a
Fam Tour, which I did.
