4. TOY STORY 3: JUNE 18. TOM HANKS AND TIM ALLEN "Toy Story" put Pixar on the map. The sequel was just as successful as the original. With such a proud lineage of films, the third installment is bound to be fun and profitable. Many franchises struggle in keeping the same cast throughout the life of the franchise, which gives rise to awkward storylines and explanations. But "Toy Story 3" has managed to keep all of the core voice actors, which means it will be an authentic trilogy. 5. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE: JUNE 30. KRISTEN STEWART, ROBERT "TEAM EDWARD" PATTINSON, TAYLOR "TEAM JACOB" LAUTNER. Audiences will be treated to two Twilight films in less than a year's time. Teenage girls have lost several pounds in water weight from how much they have cried at the mere thought of seeing Edward and Jacob again. The third installment of the insanely popular saga will set the stage for the final story, which will be separated into two movies. This film will promise to contain more action than the first two, which means studio executive have heard the cries of bored boyfriends. 6. KNIGHT AND DAY: JULY 2. TOM CRUISE AND CAMERON DIAZ Summer would not be complete without a movie that acts as your guilty pleasure--a movie with nothing drawing you to it besides the fact that it would just be fun. "Knight and Day" is that movie. We have seen the story beforeāa woman meets a man whom she thinks is ordinary but it turns out he is some super-agent bound to save the world. Been there. Done that. But I'd like to see it again. Plus, it pairs the "Vanilla Sky" couple of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. 7. DESPICABLE ME: JULY 9. STEVE CARELL This movie should be seen because it is basically an expose on the life of a villain. We always cheer for the good guys, but Despicable Me is a children's movie about a hopeless villain. The main voice actor is none other than Steve Carell, who is the perfect hopeless character in just about everything he does. There will be nothing more refreshing, in terms of a children's movie, than to teach our kids that "everyone is human including those who aim to see the demise of the world". 8. THE EXPENDABLES: AUGUST 13. SYLVESTER STALLONE AND BRUCE WILLIS Have you ever had that moment when you're sitting outside on your porch and you think to yourself, "Hey, wouldn't it be awesome if Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Randy Couture, and Stone Cold Steve Austin were all in a movie together." Well, just wait until late summer and that daydream and/or pot-induced reflection will become a reality. LIVEMAGS.NET JUNE>>10 23
