He usually shoots in 1080p 23.976 fps and “for slow motion, I shoot in 720p 60fps” with the Canon. “The key is to capture video without motion blur [at a] fast shutter speed and the biggest frame rate [possible],” he says. Baãar edits in Premiere Pro and composites in After Effects. He also exploits Twixtor’s “optical flow” technol- ogy:“I just set up Twixtor parameters to match my video specifications — resolution, fps — and then change the speed [to what] I like.” Baãar says that savvy use of slo-mo in video Yeah, you can slow down your video frame rate, but you’ll be sorry in post that you didn’t have an over- cranked 35mm camera on your shoot.
