There were several fun swing sets to design throughout the season, too. In episode 3, the script called for a cheerleader's bedroom. I played with geometry in this set, utilizing dormer windows with triangle cutouts and selecting a geometric wallpaper that also features triangles. I opted for a different color for the window recesses than the walls in the bedroom to create added depth. The bathroom is adorned with cheerful flamingo wallpaper, contrasting with the horror of the kill scene within. Midge's house is another swing set the series built for episode 5—our bottle episode. It's when viewers learn how Midge was pulled into the Pot O'Gold family. Midge's Hawaiian heritage significantly influenced how I approached this set, as well as the wallpapers and colors chosen. I wanted vibrancy, patterns and pops of color. The living room and entry featured a bamboo wallpaper with slight variations in color and texture. This was accented with gold-colored walls, teal and burnt orange furnishings, and décor. I found a beautiful floral pattern for the dining area, which was complemented with gold floral hardware. From here, there is a peek into a kitchen which was painted a bold pink. Her garage was turned into a bakery for her passion —flower cookies called Love Bites. I fell in love with this pink and white tile I saw in a reference photo, and knew we had to have it for Midge. A central component of The Bondsman narrative is the demon lore, and it's at the heart of the mystery Hub needs to solve to save himself. The demons were each paired with an element: A. THE BOXCAR EXTERIOR, CONCEPT ILLUSTRATION. CREATED IN PHOTOSHOP BY ART DIRECTOR JASON GARNER. B. THE BOXCAR EXTERIOR, SHOT ON LOCATION IN GRANTVILLE, GA. SET PHOTO, C. CHEERLEADER'S BEDROOM, BATH AND BEDROOM WALLPAPER. GRAPHIC LAYOUTS. D. CHEERLEADER'S BEDROOM. BUILT ON STAGE 2 AT RIVERWOOD STAGES. GA. SET PHOTO BY KASEY ADAMS. A B C D
