PEOPLE www.postmagazine.com 30 POST MAY/JUNE 2023 ANTHONY FICALORA Lord Danger in Los Angeles has signed with Pop- Arts Management, marking the first time the live-ac- tion production studio has been represented by a management company. The studio has also tapped former Picrow executive producer Anthony Ficalora, who will drive Lord Danger's talent growth. Ficalora co-led creative strategy at Picrow and Gifted Youth, working on projects for Skittles, Snickers, Little Caesars and Honda. He brings expertise across genres and industries, from comedy and automotive to lifestyle and documentary. PHIL MCCLUNEY London's Unit recently welcomed Phil McCluney to the creative studio, where he will serve as executive producer. He will be responsible for strengthening existing client relationships, and will work to expand Unit's offerings in emerging areas of VFX, production and post. In his 20-year history, McCluney has produced commercials, animated media, shorts and documentary films, working across agencies, production and post production. His experience includes work with Uncommon, Mother, McCann Erickson, Fallon, Joint, Anomaly, BMPDDB and DDB UK. He also worked at Deliveroo as executive producer, and as a lead pro- ducer for Google during a stint at 72&Sunny in Amsterdam. Other roles includ- ed serving as a post producer at the Mill, and an EP at production companies B-Reel and Dog Eat Dog. JULIE COLLINS Wax in New York City recently welcomed Julie Collins to the boutique post production company as its new executive producer. As an agency producer, Collins has worked across a range of mediums and plat- forms, from epic TV spots to branded content and short-form social media. She has collaborated with clients that include Meta, AT&T, MasterCard, L'Oreal, Coca-Cola, Verizon, J&J and Wendy's, to name a few. Following a decade-long tenure at McCann's production department, Collins went on to join BBDO as a senior producer, and was later promoted to group executive producer on the AT&T account. She has an in-depth understanding of agency creative, production, edit, post and visual effects, and will manage Wax's integrated VFX, telecine/finishing and live-action production. ANDY HARGREAVES, JESPER KJÖLSRUD Streamland Media's visual effects division, Ghost VFX in Los Angeles, has announced that Andy Hargreaves has joined the studio as VFX supervisor. Hargreaves (top photo) has over 20 years of experience across commercials, films and episodics, including work on Prehistoric Planet, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and Marvel's Inhumans. Hargreaves, who is based at Ghost VFX's London studio, previously worked for Dneg and MPC. Jesper Kjölsrud has also joined the London loca- tion. He has over 25 years of experience collaborat- ing on high-profile films and television productions, including contributions to House of the Dragon, Robin Hood, Alice Through the Looking Glass and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kjölsrud (bottom photo) most recently worked for Outpost VFX, but has also spent time at MPC and Dneg. DEAN PELTON Republic in Dallas has added editor Dean Pelton to their Republic Editorial roster. Most recently the lead editor at Charlie Uniform Tango's Austin of- fice, Pelton joins Republic's crew of six creative editors at Republic Editorial, alongside directors and creative directors from their Republic Production and Republic Design studios. Pelton's diverse skillset as a storyteller has allowed him to build a wide body of work across a variety of brands, including Jeep, Fiat, American Airlines, Sub- Zero, Wonder Bread and Pennzoil. He began his career as a runner at Company 3 in Santa Monica in 2007, and after meeting his future wife there, moved to Texas in 2012 to be closer to family. He joined Charlie Uniform Tango in 2013, where he rose from the bullpen into the edit chair. In 2017, his first national Super Bowl spot for Alfa Romeo — Dear Predictable — was a crazy, last-min- ute project thrown together on a Monday, as the clock ticked down. His career took off from there. ROMAIN DEMONGEOT In Montreal, creative director Romain Demongeot is now bringing his wide-spanning talents to Rodeo FX's ads & experiences division. Throughout his career, Demongeot has incorporated various technol- ogies — including realtime 3D, VFX, metaverse and virtual shoots — into his work. His career spans more than two decades across continents, and includes work with Intel on a virtual concert with an avatar of famed DJ, Diplo, as well as on a campaign for L'envol perfume by Cartier, and on an interactive AR cam- paign for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He also spearheaded the launch of the Bentley EXP 100 GT. In his new position as global executive creative direc- tor, he will lead the division's creative expertise, which has ambitions to partner with agencies and brands on exciting and far-reaching projects. BRIAN FOWLER Deluxe, the global provider of digital and cloud-based localization and distribution solutions to content production studios and distributors, has appointed Brian Fowler senior vice president, dubbing operations, reporting directly to Chris Reynolds, Deluxe's executive VP and GM of worldwide localization and fulfillment. Prior to joining Deluxe in LA, Fowler served as a senior leader at SDI Media, then Iyuno, for a total of 19 years, where he directed opera- tions across multiple languages and regions. His experience in this capacity has equipped him with the skills and expertise needed to handle complex projects. JENNIE ARMON International music company Squeak E. Clean Studios recently brought on music producer Jennie Armon as executive creative producer, working out of their New York location. She has over 15 years of experience across creative and production roles in the advertising industry, including multiple tenures leading teams at top music and sound companies, as well as several agency-side posts. Armon brings a deep understanding of the holistic creative process. Most recently, she spent seven years with Brooklyn-based music and sound compa- ny Found Objects, serving as executive producer and music supervisor. Armon was also recently inducted into the Guild of Music Supervisors, and was named an official voting member for the Grammy Awards. She won a Clio in the "Music Supervision" category for her work on the trailer for Ridley Scott's Life in a Day 2020.
