Corney has joined Harbor as VP of sales, entertainment, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience at the senior level in the post production world. Corney has worked with major clients that in- clude Amazon, Disney, Netflix, Showtime, Paramount, Warner Media (Discovery), Lionsgate/Starz, NBC Universal, ABC Signature, FX, 20th Television and CBS. He was most recently president/COO of 5 Guys Named Moe, and held long tenures with ModernVideoFilm, Walt Disney Studios and Picture Shop. JANE TATTERSALL Award-winning sound editor Jane Tattersall has been appointed managing director of Picture Shop and se- nior vice president of Formosa Group, Toronto (www. formosagroup.com). Picture Shop and Formosa Group are Streamland Media's picture and sound divisions. Tattersall founded Tattersall Sound in 1994 and Tattersall Sound & Picture in 2004. She headed Alliance Atlantis' post company from 1999 to 2003, and Sim Post Toronto from 2016 to 2021. In 2021 she was the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Business Award from Women in Film & TV Toronto. She has been on the Film Ontario board of directors since 2015. GUNTER WEIDLICH The board of Prasad Corp. in Chennai, India, has appointed Gunter Weidlich managing director for Digital Film Technology. Prasad Corp. is a leader in film preservation, digitization and restoration, as well as the owner of Digital Film Technology. DFT has been at the forefront of film scanning technology for more than 75 years, and provides solutions for film post production, archives and restoration. Weidlich comes with more than three decades of experience in manag- ing development, operations and support for media and broadcast vendors, and electro-mechanical manufacturers. This includes more than a decade of leadership experience in the production of high-end film scanners and im- age-processing software. He was one of DFT's founding managing directors in 2012, having been involved with products such as Spirit Classic, Spirit 4K and Scanity. IGOR BOROS, LAURENT TAILLEFER VFX veteran in the advertising field, and former creative director at BBDO/Ricochet, Igor Boros (top photo), joins Rodeo FX at their new Toronto office. There, he will oversee the visual effects and creative direction of its fast-expanding advertising and expe- riential division. Having worked as a creative director for a decade, Boros has collaborated on projects for PepsiCo, Mars, Bayer AG, Visa and FedEX. He was a Flame artist on campaigns for Lululemon Team Canada and Molson Ultra — both with Alter Ego. As a senior Flame artist, Boros possesses a strong artistic understanding that allows him to handle complex projects from ideation through post production. In addition, VFX supervisor Laurent Taillefer (bottom photo), who has worked on projects that include Ad Astra, Deadpool, Stranger Things, The Walk and Ghost in The Shell, recently joined Rodeo FX's Montreal office. Laurent collaborated with Robert Emmerich on the feature Moonfall, where he had the chance to go on-set to assist the director. LAYCHIN LEE Camp Lucky in Dallas recently welcomed Flame art- ist Laychin Lee to the creative post and production studio. She has contributed CG, VFX and finishing services to projects for Frito Lay, Ram, Home Depot and Acura, as well as for Katy Perry's Fireworks music video. Lee grew up in Malaysia, where she created ani- mation and dreamed of moving to the US to work on feature films. She first landed in Houston, where she began building what was to become a career as a Flame artist, and later moved to ReelFX Dallas, where she was recog- nized for her creative eye and ability to bring a dynamic sense of realism to the screen. TAHIRAH FOY Arsenal FX Color has added colorist Tahirah Foy to its growing staff. The company has studios in Santa Monica, Albuquerque and Atlanta. Formerly with HBO, Foy brings diverse experience in color grading for television, film and broadcast me- dia, as well as in film restoration. In her first project for Arsenal FX Color, she's performing final color grade for the feature documentary Big Boss, directed by Keke Palmer. MICHAEL PORTERFIELD Alkemy X has expanded to Vancouver, launching a new presence in Canada that will be led by head of 2D, Michael Porterfield. The new office reflects the company's continued and strategic growth on the West Coast in response to an increased demand for high-end visual effects for streaming and fea- ture-film content. Porterfield joined Alkemy X in mid-2022 as head of 2D. He will now lead the Vancouver team with Los Angeles-based executive creative director Jep Hill, executive producer Mark Miller and head of production Ben Benedetti oversee- ing the overall creative direction and expansive growth for the new location. NATALIE WESTERFIELD Natalie Westerfield has joined Carbon as executive producer for color in Los Angeles. Previously senior producer for color at The Mill, Westerfield spent a number of years on both the East and West Coasts, and helped their New York color department grow to a team of six top colorists. At Carbon, she will work alongside color EP Laurie Adrianopoli. ANNE-LOUISE BUICK Nevada City, CA's Telestream, the provider of work- flow automation, media processing, video quality monitoring and test and synchronization solutions, has appointed Anne-Louise Buick senior vice president of marketing. She recently led worldwide field, channel and demand marketing at Avid as VP of global revenue marketing. Her 20-year career in media and entertainment technology marketing has also included leader- ship positions in the TV and media division at Ericsson, IP video technology manufacturer Exterity, and organizations focused on pay TV and digital archive monetization. Buick, who is based in Scotland, previously served on the board of IABM, and is currently on the advisory board of the Marketing Leaders Circle, and Rise — a group focused on equality and diversity in the broadcast industry.
