MATT CIMINO Lucky Post in Dallas recently welcomed sound designer Matt Cimino to the company. Formerly a sound designer at 3008, Cimino is known for devel- oping narrative depth and dimension through sound. Recently, he contributed sound design to the feature film Miss Juneteenth, which premiered at Sundance 2020. His vast commercial portfolio includes spots and campaigns for Ram, GameStop, Bridgestone, Dodge, Patron and the Jeep Super Bowl spot Restlessness. ROBIN SHENFIELD Ncam Technologies, the London-based developer of realtime augmented reality technology for the media and entertainment industries, has appointed Robin Shenfield chairman. In this strategic role, Shenfield will apply his extensive experience in VFX and post to the changing world of realtime VFX. He will also work in collaboration with the Ncam senior manage- ment team and investors to achieve the company's aims for sustainable global growth. Shenfield is the co-founder and former global CEO of The Mill. He oversaw the company's diversification into feature film VFX with the launch of Mill Film in 1997, which famously became the first British company to win an Academy Award for visual effects (Gladiator, 2001), as well as the launch of Mill+, an innovator in technology-focused production. JUSTIN HORI Squeak E. Clean Studios, an international creative audio network, has welcomed Justin Hori back to its team as creative director, out of the Chicago office. A talented composer, Hori has developed a knack for crafting poignant, contemporary audio stylings for branded content. His original music has been featured in work for Apple, Reebok, Adidas, Volkswagen and Budweiser, among many others. Hori returns to Squeak E. Clean Studios after expanding Human Worldwide into the Chicago market. He is currently scoring the upcoming dark comedy feature film Big Gold Brick. TONY D'AMORE Burbank, CA's Picture Shop recently welcomed senior colorist Tony D'Amore. Originally hailing from rural Illinois, D'Amore studied Film & Television at UCLA and began his career in color in the early '90s. He has been working closely with color and post production workflows ever since. In addition to senior colorist, D'Amore also serves as director of creative workflow, overseeing a team dedicated to color prep and workflow efficiency. In the course of his 20-plus-year career, he has developed an advanced knowledge of color grading software, including Resolve, Lustre and Baselight, though he primarily grades in DaVinci Resolve. Some of his credits include Barry (HBO), Looking for Alaska (Hulu), Legion (FX), Carnival Row (Amazon), Power (Starz), Fargo (FX), Elementary (CBS), Hanna (Amazon) and a slew of Marvel series. ADAM MILANO Hecho Studios in Los Angeles has named Adam Milano head of development, a new title at the com- pany. He makes the move from Live Nation, where he served as SVP of production. There, he most recently produced the Believer documentary with Imagine Dragons' frontman Dan Reynolds. At Hecho, he will report directly to studio president Briony McCarthy. Milano's previous posts include senior VP/film at Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment, where he helped Cowell launch the US division of his global media empire and Syco's scripted film/television division. He began his career at Sony Pictures Entertainment, working from 2002 to 2012 as VP of production. RUPERT CRESSWELL Alkemy X in New York City has hired Rupert Cresswell as creative director. He will work closely with executive producer Eve Ehrich to continue to build the company's design and animation team, working across branded and entertainment projects. London-born, Cresswell comes to Alkemy X from MPC, where he spent nearly eight years as a director and creative director, working on projects for Adidas, Samsung, Jaguar, Ford, Google, Sky One and Fox Searchlight. His stylized work is characterized by a meticulous eye for design and a subtle fusion of live action and visual effects. ROB CHURCHILL Creative production studio Flavor in Chicago has added Rob Churchill to its staff as VFX director. According to Cutters Studios, which is a partner studio to Flavor, the announcement also involves Churchill becoming a partner in the launch of a new production venture, which will be announced shortly. A Chicago native, Churchill has established himself as a top-tier VFX director over the past two decades, most recently with Carbon VFX since its 2018 acquisition of Filmworkers. His VFX experience and formal training for character animation has kept him in high demand. He has served as a key collaborator behind campaigns for Capital One, Allstate, Apple, Budweiser, McDonald's, Samsung, State Farm and many other Fortune 100 brands. Churchill is also increasingly involved in projects as a director. LETICIA GURJÃO Creative production company Los York Films in LA has added Leticia Gurjão as its new executive producer and head of the film division. Gurjão brings a deep under- standing of the ways agencies, in-house creative teams and brands want to work and collaborate today. Before joining Los York Films, Gurjão was the executive produc- er for the bi-coastal production company Station Film. Prior to that, she was director of business development at The Cavalry and Green Dot Films. While at Cavalry she helped to launch the VR/AR company Spectacle. RYAN COLLISON Westchester, NY-based Foley studio Alchemy Post Sound has elevated Ryan Collison to partner, joining founders Leslie Bloome (Foley artist) and Andrea Bloome (CEO). Part of the Alchemy team for the past six years, Collison is an Emmy Award-winning Foley mixer whose credits include The Last Days of American Crime, The Invisible Man, Harry Haft and Fosse/Verdon. His promotion comes as the studio prepares to expand with a third Foley stage, along with more sound editing facilities.
