Live: You are one of five siblings. What was life like growing up in the Munn household? Olivia: Life was loud, messy, fast and a lot of yelling. A lot of the yelling was because I had a crazy family. The other yelling was just because there are loud ass Asians in my family. There are two types of Asians: There is the kind that laugh with their hand over their mouth and shy away and then there are the Asians that chew with their mouths open and speak at a constant level of shout. And really competitive. I had a stepsister who was the same age as me and naturally very smart. I always had to work so much harder than her to just try and keep up. Our parents felt that because we were the same age (she was 6 months older than I), that I should be in all the same honors classes as she was. So, that's where I learned to keep going, going, going, even when I'm so exhausted and don't think I can possibly give anymore. I pull myself and make it happen. That's how I was raised. Never rest. Live: When did you decide to get into show business and what would you say was your first big break? Olivia: I've always wanted to be an entertainer since I first watched the TV show "Punky Brewster." She looked, dressed and acted like me and I wanted to be her best friend--and that's when I learned what "Acting" was for the first time. My first big break was definitely "Attack of the Show." That was a very special combination of right place, right time, right two people coming together to host a show that was unlike anything else on TV. Live: How did you come to host "Attack of the Show"? Olivia: It was just a regular audition like any other. I got a couple of callbacks, then did a studio test with my co-host and then a few weeks later we got the call. Live: What was your favorite gadget or new technology you got to experience? Olivia: I'm getting projection in my house for the first time ever, and I'm so excited about that. I have a big fireplace room that I like to call the "Suitors Room" and I like to say it's the room where gentlemen suitors have to wait when they come to call on me. ALSO, I have the new surround sound throughout my house and with Micorosoft's Zune you can pay $30 a month or something and get access to their whole musical library. It's like Netflix for music. I love that and listen to it a lot. Live: You were recently part of an all star cast in "Iron Man 2"-- how was that experience? Olivia: Working on "Iron Man 2" was one of the best experiences of my life. To see RDJ and Don Cheadle work out a scene right in front of me was education you can't buy anywhere. And then to be able to improv with the man and keep up, was a dream come true, and Favreau is an actor's director so I got to learn a lot from him as well. How to hone it in better as a comedic actor at the same time giving the camera what it needs to capture something special. Live: Tell us more about "Perfect Couples"? Olivia: It's about a little robot girl who comes in to take care of our home, but really ends up taking care of our hearts. She's our Small Wonder. Live: Is scripted television a better feel or do you like the more free-range production of "Attack of the Show"? Olivia: I love both types. And even in scripted, you have to bring your own style and sense of humor. So even though you're sticking to a script, you have to make it your own to make it something special. Live: You have a new movie coming out. Tell us a little about "Freeloaders?" Olivia: It's a movie from the Broken Lizard Comedy group. I have a small part in the beginning of the movie-- where I break up with the lead guy for not growing up and moving out of his friend's house where he and all of his friends have become freeloaders and refusing to become adults. Live: Are there any other projects coming up for you? Olivia: I've got my book coming out July 6. It's like a David Sedaris book of short stories from my life. From finding my first agent in Hollywood (which resulted in me staring at a collage of his girlfriend's vagina) to boyfriends. I also give tips on dating, how to save yourself from the Zombie Apocalypse.. you know, real important stuff. Live: What is something that most people don't know about you? Olivia: I really hate it when anyone is left out. I get anxiety when I go to parties or events, always wondering if I'll fit in or be accepted. So, I always try my best to make everyone feel comfortable. Because really, once we get out of high school, there are no more "groups" or "cliques". We're just people, on this Earth, trying to make it. And if we all embraced one another and put out a hand every now and then, I think the ride would be a lot nicer for all of us.
