Be inspired - April 27 - free leadership conference DELAWARE STATE EDUCATION ASSOCIATION Minority Leadership Training Conference DELAWARE STATE UNIVERSITY April 27, 2013 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Keynote Speaker - Reg Weaver, immediate past president, NEA DSEA will host its 3rd Annual Minority Leadership Training Conference. Participants will build a foundation of knowledge by strengthening their leadership skills and networking with other education professionals throughout the state. There is no registration cost for this event, and all members lare welcome. Reg Weaver will be the keynote speaker for the conference this year. He completed two terms as president of the National Education Association - the nation���s largest professional employee organization and the world���s largest democratic, deliberative body Reg, a middle school sci. ence teacher and 30 year classroom veteran, also served as president of the Illinois Education Association and president of his local, the Harvey Education Association. Recently he served as vice president of Education International, the world���s largest Global Union Federation consisting of 394 members, representing nearly 30 million teachers and education workers in 171 countries.
