Katelyn holds a BFA in stage design from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has experience as an Art Department assistant, a scenic painter, a freelance props artisan and a props intern. Dara Zhao (2018) A rendered elevation and a set illustration of a smoker's lounge, both drawn in SketchUp and rendered in Photoshop. Dara earned a bachelor of fine arts in Production Design at Beijing Film Academy, China, in 2014. Before enrolling at the Conservatory, she worked as a Production Designer and costume designer on short films and commercials, and also worked as a Concept Artist, Art Director, assistant Art Director and illustrator on feature films and commercials in China. Angran Li (2018) A Photoshop composite of a New York exterior for THE HOURS and a SketchUp set rendering for her Cycle production FROG WIFE. Prior to enrolling at AFI, Angran received a BFA in interior design from Parsons School of Design. She has assisted in musical theater, ballet, exhibition design and interior residential projects.
