One from the Heart. Dean asked me to go meet the potential buyer. Introducing myself
with, "Hi. I'm Dennis Gassner." He replied, "I'm Ridley Scott." We went off to a warehouse
holding two and a half miles of neon. Ridley almost passed out. Walking back to the Art
Department, I asked what he was going to do with it. He responded, "I'm going to do a
small film called Blade Runner." I replied, "Sounds cool."
And it was.
Maybe my destiny was set.
