108 / the tasting panel / july 2016 panel / july 2016 The Wine & Spirits Competition at the WSWA (Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America) annual Convention & Exposition keeps growing year after year. Half a dozen expert panels of judges from around the country sniffed, swirled and medaled more than 600 wines and spirits at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The distinguished judges (see list) were blown away by the quality and variety of entries, and awarded 41 Double Golds in the Wine Division and 47 Double Golds in the Spirits Division.
