PASSING THE TORCH

More than 200 children with cancer, sickle cell disease or other serious
blood disorders ran, walked and wheeled in a relay on Sunday, June
13, at Rainbow Harbor Esplanade. Participants passed an Olympic-
style torch to raise money for the Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer
Center at Miller Children's Hospital. The "Champions Run For Life"
participants were accompanied by their families, who later enjoyed
carnival games and entertainment. n
