The award for Graphic Realization was won by La Noche, for a costume based on a character from the film The Book of Life. This year, the Guild organized and presented three panels: Building Cinematic Dreams, Artwork to Screen: Comics Come to Life, and The Women of the Hollywood Art Department. All three panels were heavily attended. In its premiere, The Women of the Hollywood Art Department panel was standing room only. People were not only turned away at the door for lack of space, but the subsequent autograph session required the full amount of time allotted to get through everyone. Every year, the committee strives for diversity and inclusivity on all of our panels, and this year, we are especially proud of what we accomplished. A.
