E like Iron Man and Captain America, and such obscure (and even laughable) characters like Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy to the big screen. As a leader and concept designer on these films, I'm honored to be able to help bring joy to the many comic book fans of these characters throughout the world. I do feel a degree of pressure because the fan base is definitely rabid. They can celebrate the looks developed for the films, but can also quickly let us know that when they are not pleased. All I can do is hunker down, do my job, be creative, collaborate with the leadership and listen to my gut as a fan myself. Some other characters that I've been fortunate to have designed throughout the years are: Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man Mark 33, Iron Man Mark 16, Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor (in Ragnarok), Hela, Scarlet Witch, Nick Fury (The Avengers), Ultron Mark 1, Gamora, Nebula, Mantis and Captain Marvel. It began over twenty years ago. I still feel like that kid who loved drawing superheroes in the margins of his homework. I just get to do that on a slightly bigger scale now, and get paid to boot. Someone please pinch me just to make sure I'm not dreaming and have to wake up to go to my first-period history class. Man, that would suck. ADG E. COVER TO SLIPCASE TO MARVEL'S CAPTAIN MARVEL: THE ART OF CAPTAIN MARVEL. PAINTED IN PHOTOSHOP.
