Designing with Joy During prep, Jon told a Kevin Kwan story about writing the book. To keep focused on the reason for writing, Kwan placed a Post-it note on his computer with the word "Joy." In a tribute to that search for joy, several surreptitious "Post-it notes" appear in the movie. The joy which permeated Kwan's book was expanded exponentially by Jon, leading an amazing international cast and crew, creating a one-of-a-kind experience on and off the screen.
