He has previously collaborated with Marvel Studios as Production Designer on several Marvel One Shots: Item 47, Agent Carter, both directed by Louis D'Esposito and All Hail the King, directed by Drew Pearce, as well as the additional photography of Thor 2: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Doctor Strange. Between feature assignments, Frankel works with studios, directors and producers to develop concept presentations and design strategies for films. In addition, he has set the look for several successful television pilots and popular commercials. J O S E P H G A R R I T Y holds a BA degree from Temple University's School of Communications and Theater and an MFA in Production Design from the American Film Institute Conservatory. For thirty-five years, Garrity has designed feature films, including Runaway Train (as Art Director), Weeds, My Girl, Drop Dead Fred, Son-in-Law, Imaginary Crimes, Sunshine Cleaning, Cake and Mr. Church. His most recent film, I Can Only Imagine, was released in theaters in March 2018. Garrity met Christopher Guest in 1988 and was chosen to design Guest's directorial debut feature The Big Picture. Garrity has designed most of Guest's films since, including Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wing, For Your Consideration and Family Tree for HBO. Garrity also teaches and serves as Department Head for Production Design at the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, CA. H O W A R D C U M M I N G S is a California native but was raised mostly in Virginia. Cummings received a MFA in Set Design from New York University. Howard's early career included designing period dramas for the PBS series American Playhouse. During that time, he was mentored by the Oscar-winning screenwriter and legendary playwright Horton Foote. After years of loving living in New York, Howard made the move to LA to broaden his connections. Cummings has been fortunate enough to learn from and collaborate with a veritable Who's Who of esteemed directors. His affiliations include such directors as Francis Coppola, Bryan Singer, John Schlesinger, Bruce Beresford and Chris Columbus. Howard's single biggest influence and longest standing relationship has been with Steven Soderbergh, for whom he worked exclusively for about seven years working on five films and multiple television projects. Cummings received an Emmy Award, an Art Directors Guild Award and a BAFTA nomination for the HBO film Behind the Candelabra. He also received another Emmy Award and additional Emmy nomination for The Knick seasons one and two. Searching for a home to house his collection of mid- century modern furniture, Howard settled in Palm Springs where he happily discovered that several of his neighbors are fellow Production Designers. S H E P H E R D F R A N K E L attended the LaGuardia School of the Arts, before relocating to the West Coast and earning a master's in architecture from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at UCLA. Upon graduating, Frankel was recruited to work on commercials as an Assistant Art Director for a variety of commercial shops, including RSA for Tony Scott and Ridley Scott. His success in the commercial world led him to features, where he continued his development as an Assistant Art Director, Art Director and Supervising Art Director on various films, including Stuart Little and Stuart Little 2, Sweet Home Alabama, Magnolia, Terminator 3, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Catwoman, Fantastic Four and Due Date.
