Picking up approximately one year later, Season 2 is as experiential as ever, analyzing human thought, mental illness, and group consciousness … or group delusion. Guaranteed to make you think, while visually blowing your mind with the art of practical camera effects, Legion promises to again be abstract and bizarrely twisted. A veteran of many TV shows, Blackman observes, "I find myself working really well with all of these young people. I try to join in, bringing my experience to the project. Maybe I'm kind of the anchovy paste in the salad dressing, but I make it a little deeper, a little richer, but I'm loving that the fact that I'm having to in some ways reinvent myself." CD Erica D. Schwartz just wrapped a new show called Golden Revenge, produced by Blue Ribbon Content (Warner Bros. Television Group's digital studio), Conan O'Brien's Conaco LLC, and Retrofit Films for go90. The story follows three pets seeking revenge upon the people who left them for dead in a heartwarming animal tale that quickly turns into a bloody quest. Shooting around Los Angeles, Golden Revenge is directed by Tom Stern and stars Mo Mandel, Agnes Albright, and Jessica Makinson. Schwartz's biggest challenge was designing costumes for the animals, but she did so with humorous panache. On February 20, Walt Disney Concert Hall presented The Green Umbrella series, featuring a performance of the 1960s sonic and political piece, Salvatore Martirano's "L's GA for Gassed-Masked Politico, Helium Bomb, and Two-Channel Tape." CD Stacy Ellen Rich collaborated with performance artist Ron Athey to bring the character and costume of Politico to life. The relevance in our current political climate potently rings true today.
