www.postmagazine.com 10 POST JUNE 2017 SOUND LIBRARIES LAS VEGAS — Killer Tracks (www.killertracks.com) recently hosted recording artist Justyna Kelley at its booth during the NAB Show in Las Vegas, where she performed songs from her new album Nashville, Tennessee. Produced by Koka Media, the album was released in North America via Killer Tracks. A singer/songwriter, Kelley delivers heartfelt songs bridging coun- try, pop and adult contemporary. Her new album was recorded at Nashville's RCA Studio on Music Row and includes 14 tracks about love and heartache, trouble and hope. Each song is sung once by Kelley and then covered by an all-star line-up of friends, including Adam McPhail, Jamie Johnson, Sara Jean Kelley, Adam Fears, Brandon James and others. The album is produced by Rodolphe Plisson. At NAB, Kelley was accompanied by guitarist and banjo player Matt Menefee (Mumford and Sons, Alison Krauss). KILLER TRACKS HOSTS ARTIST JUSTYNA KELLEY ATLANTA — Sound Oracle (soundoracle.net), a re- source for drum sounds, has released The Oracle Percussion Loops, a new sound library that can help add movement and feeling to music. The collection includes 40-plus head-bop- ping loops, created by music producer/sound de- signer William David Typer, that were sampled using vintage analog samplers and then recorded to tape to get a classic analog feel. The loops can be used in creating a range of tracks in genres that span EDM, hip hop, trap and R&B. Oracle Percussion Loops is available as an instant download and includes 45 unique drum and percussion loops in stereo WAV 16-bit/44kHz format. The loops are compatible with all popular DAWs, including Ableton, Fruity Loops, Pro Tools, Reason and Logic, as well as with software and hardware samples. All sounds are royalty-free. SOUND ORACLE RELEASES DRUM LOOP LIBRARY BROOKLYN — Pro Sound Effects has released the Master Library 2017, an upgraded version of its most comprehensive general sound library. The collection now offers more than 200,000 royalty-free sound effects with metadata, optimized for pinpoint search. The new Master Library 2017 also provides users with full online access, free annual updates and search software. More than 1,700 hours of diverse, professional quality sound effects are included, spanning 293 categories. The collection includes the latest specialty library releases from Pro Sound Effects, such as "Cinematic Winds" by film sound specialists Alan Splet and Ann Kroeber. "The Master Library 2017 is our flagship general library, and this year we have upgraded it with more than 27,000 world-class sound effects, plus search software to make it better than it has ever been," says Douglas Price, president of Pro Sound Effects. PRO SOUND EFFECTS UPDATES MASTER LIBRARY NASHVILLE — Warner/ Chappell Production Music (www.warner- chappellpm.com), Warner Music Group's production music arm, was nominated in the PromaxBDA Local Awards for its "Use of Original Music in a Promo." The Ones for Texas was created in conjunction with KTVT-TV/CBS 11 in Dallas-Fort Worth and shows a diverse community coming together to combat graffiti. Together, they cover the vandalism with a unifying Texas flag. Tyler Cain and Meghan Linsey wrote the track, which is upbeat and contempo- rary. Linsey performed the vocals, singing about unity and Texas pride. The pro- mo was directed and produced by David Hershey and Tadd Van Cleve at KTVT. Hershey also edited the piece. "I'm excited that this collaboration with KTVT is nominated for a Local Award, and proud to have been a part of a campaign that celebrates diversity and con- nects to its viewers' Texas pride," says Mark Agent, Warner/Chappell Production Music's director of licensing, local television.
