t a time when baggy pants and bucket hats are back in style, it feels like what is old is new again. This is true of the nostalgic feeling The Pitt gives its viewers. The premise of a doctor drama is one we all know well: Chicago Hope, Grey's Anatomy, House, MASH, and of course, ER, which is perhaps why The Pitt feels like both something old and something new. But the Costume Department of The Pitt's second season took more than something borrowed and something blue to get it down the aisle of production and into our homes. Thirteen members of The Pitt costume crew were kind enough to answer some questions and walk us through their department from concept to reality. Starting at the costume offices at Warner Bros., the office crew helped us understand how they take the intense scripts and begin the process making them set ready. This includes an army of 705 Costumers that cover everything from shopping, receipt and package tracking, budgets and script breakdowns, fittings, and to make it feel lived in through aging and dying.
