She is without a doubt one of the most talented and creative individuals in her field. I first worked with Bobbi on a feature film titled Ghost Rider. I still remember the first day of the project and her coming onto the ADR stage with open arms. Making me feel comfortable and part of the creative process. Bobbi makes the best work environment you could possibly ask for, and as to this day we still greet each other with the same open arms. I am so happy that she is being honored with this award. Her years of commitment to her craft and the inspiration that she has given to all of us in her circle. I can not think of a more deserving person. DAVID RUBIN C A S T I N G D I R E C T O R Bobbi -- It's certainly no surprise you're being honored by your colleagues in the Motion Picture Editors Guild with their Fellowship & Service Award. But as a former president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences I'm just jealous they've beaten the Academy to the punch! There's no doubt your ebullient spirit, positivity and professionalism have set an example for all with whom you've worked and all you've guided with your leadership and integrity — but let's not forget how much fun it's been for all of us to be in your midst, as we've joined you on committees and rolled up our sleeves to support and advance the future of filmmaking. It gives me great pleasure to add my voice to countless others who've known from the start that you are 'Good News' in every regard! Let all the love soak in, dear Bobbi... and Congratulations! KIRSTEN SMITH N B C I remember my first week at Universal, it was 2006. I was still a deer in headlights, as I walked into Mix 3 for the 1st day mix of "Illegal Tender". There on stage was legendary director, John Singleton and sitting next to him, the one and only, Ms. Bobbi Banks. You were amazing then, and you're amazing now. You bring a sense of calm to the chaos, and you always bring you're "A" game. From The Incredible Hulk to Straight Outta Compton, and all of the ones in between it has been a pleasure working with you all of these years, Cheers to you Bobbi and your dedication to the world of sound.
