Once again, through masterclasses, screenings, panels and exhibitions, Production Designers worldwide will share their process and work during in- person and online events. The program will be held in more than 40 countries, and it will be open to filmmakers, industry collaborators, students and the general public. The biennial event is organized by the PDC, a group of over 1,500 international Production Designers, in collaboration with guilds and associations in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. During the previous edition of IPDW, the lineup included more than 200 events, featuring Production Designers such as Nathan Crowley (Wicked), Fiona Crombie (Mickey 17), Sarah Greenwood (Barbie), Patrice Vermette (Dune), Maria Djurkovic (The Imitation Game), Wynn Thomas (Malcolm X), among several other acclaimed artists. The PDC will reveal the full IPDW lineup in early October. In the meantime, some members of the collective share their reflections on the relevance of this initiative.
