completed. Full credit to set decorator Jessica Petruccelli for bringing these sets and characters to life, adding depth and delight to every shot. She is the best scavenger hunter I know. Logistically-speaking, there's tons more to say about everything that went into this production, far beyond what I can articulate here. From my first day to last, I spent nearly fourteen months inside this world. We staged a diamond heist in the middle of the Diamond District in New York, made possible by the tireless work of location manager Dena Ghieth and ALM Sean McManus. To get this sequence just right, we even replicated a few of these storefronts on stage. We built a burn set out of concrete board and metal, and our brilliant scenics painted it to look like a stuffy wood- paneled cigar room. This heist sequence—the inciting event in "Violet"—among countless others was only made possible by the diligent and insightful work by Max Sherwood, our mastermind prop master. This is all a long way of saying that every TV series is a puzzle, a seemingly impossible one at the beginning of things. But at the end of things, I'd say that planning a heist is just as fun as watching one. I'm excited that in a small way, we were able to build a world that contributes to the heist genre, keeping it fresh, entertaining and hopefully, surprising.
