4 0 P E R S P E C T I V E | M A R C H / A P R I L 2 0 2 3 James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar was a groundbreaking work that introduced audiences to the amazing world of Pandora and the Earth's RDA (Resources Development Administration) forces bent on its exploitation. We had the honor of working under its Co-Production Designers, Robert Stromberg and Rick Carter, as Concept Art Directors. When it came time to crew up for a series of Avatar sequels, we were immensely lucky to be tapped by Cameron and Jon Landau to design them as Co-Production Designers covering all four films. While incredibly excited, we were also keenly aware we had big shoes to fill pioneering the new realms of a uniquely beloved film world. As they say, "no pressure"!
