The Mansion: One of the most ambitious locations to find was the mansion that Al moves into once he's rich and famous. The film's inspiration was somewhere between the opulent residence of Tony Montana from Scarface with some of the narcissistic touches of Liberace's Las Vegas home. We found a perfect place in Bel Air that exuded over-the-top extravagance with cascading staircases and gold encrusted columns. It just required some well- placed dressing and a custom Yankovic portrait done by the production's incredibly talented graphic artist Lori West. Dan Butts, Production Designer Jack Carnevale, Art Director Lori West, Graphic Artist Laura Harper, Set Decorator In all, there were forty-six sets to complete on and incredibly short schedule, and somehow I had the perfect crew that all seemed to hold the same goal of making them all look fantastic. Now I know that MANY people are saying this is the best movie ever made (and they are most likely correct), but regardless it was a joy to be a part its creation. I've always felt very lucky to have this job, and incredibly fortunate to be able to do it with such talented and dedicated people. ADG F G H
