In 2015, Michael worked as a Scenic Artist for Conan at Warner Bros., a position he held for three years. Following that, he painted on Deadwood: The Movie, Penny Dreadful and Westworld at the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio. He retired in 2020 but continued to work part time for the Melody Ranch, painting signs and doing specialty painting restoration. As a member of IATSE for forty-four years, he served on the Board of Directors of the former Local 816 and Local 800 after the merger in 2003 with the Art Directors Guild. He also co- chaired committees for Gallery 800, the figure drawing workshop and the Cowboy Festival, all events that the Guild sponsored. He has also created murals for Atlantic City-Golden Nugget, Las Vegas-The Venetian, and has work that can be seen in Italy, Japan, China, Spain and France. C.
