A graduate of Central Michigan University, Harrison earned her master's degree in video editing from DePaul University while also studying documenta- ry production at Whistling Woods International in Mumbai, India. Harrison began her career as a receptionist for Whitehouse Post, then rose to assistant editor for Hudson Edit. In 2018, she joined Cutters Detroit as an assistant editor. Some of her credits include work for Ford, General Motors, Chevrolet, GMC, Quicken Loans and the Detroit Lions, among many others. DAVID GESSLBAUER Berlin-based editor David Gesslbauer has joined roster of editorial talent at The Quarry in London. A graduate of the prestigious Film Academy Baden- Württemberg, Gesslbauer has distinguished himself as a powerful storyteller whose work has received Clios, Silvers, Wooden Pencils and Kinsale Sharks, among others. At just 30, Gesslbauer has already cut commercials for Porsche, Tik Tok, Mercedes, ITV, Schweppes, BMW and Stella Artois. He's also well versed in long-form, working on a range of projects that include Nowness-presented short films and mini documentaries, the Netflix documentary series A Perfect Crime, and an upcoming feature film. ZEKE BOWMAN PS260 recently welcomed Zeke Bowman to its Boston studio, where he will serve as executive producer. In this role, he will also run We Know the Future (WKTF), PS260's integrated production arm that offers advertising solutions across all channels. Bowman has more than 15 years of experience as an executive producer, and has served as head of integrated production on the agency side with MullenLowe US. He's worked on projects for numerous global clients, including Google, JetBlue and Acura. In addition to producing and directing, Bowman has done voiceover work too. He takes over the company's Boston outpost from Raná Martin, who has moved over to lead the Los Angeles office. NICO VAN DEN BOSCH Los Angeles's Alkemy X recently brought Nico Van den Bosch onboard as head of pipeline across all of its offices. The studio, which specializes in visual effects, production, editorial, design and creative development, has locations in New York, Burbank, Philadelphia and Amsterdam. Van den Bosch comes to Alkemy X with over 20 years of experience in visu- al effects and 3D animation. He has worked on feature films and commercials, combining his engineering and computer science background with a passion for creative problem solving and developing VFX pipeline strategies that focus on efficient workflows. ASHLEY SIMMONS Audio post production studio Sound Lounge in New York City has promoted Ashley Simmons to mixer, following the company's long-standing tradition of nurturing and training talent from within. She joins the mix roster after five years of assisting and honing her craft at Sound Lounge. Simmons' skills span multiple disciplines. She has amassed a body of work that includes advertising, film and documentary credits, and has collaborated on projects for brands such as AT&T, DoorDash, Synchrony Bank, Comcast and the Women's History Museum. She also worked on Procter & Gamble's "Widen the Screen" initiative, aimed at shattering racial stereotypes in the media. MICHEL FOURNIER Rodeo FX in Montreal has appointed Michel Fournier, CPA, chief financial officer. The studio's work includes visual effects for Stranger Things, the Fantastic Beasts saga and Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Fournier joined Framestore in 2013 as head of finance when the studio was just opening in Montreal. He was part of its original team of six, and helped the studio expand to what it is today, securing resources for more than 900 employees. Rodeo FX is con- tinuing to grow. The studio opened a Toronto office this spring, joining existing locations in Los Angeles, Quebec City, Munich and Montreal. YARIN MANES Multi-disciplinary content creation studio AFX Creative in Santa Monica, CA, continues to expand its diverse creative roster with the recent hiring of Yarin Manes, who will now serve as head of CG. Formerly with The Mill, Yarin is skilled at translating and imple- menting clients' visions through the complex and ev- er-evolving nature of the VFX production pipeline. He was recognized with a 2021 VES Award for his CG lead role on Walmart's Super Bowl spot, Famous Visitors. In his new role, Manes will be tasked with helping expand AFX Creative's current team with additional talent PRISCILLA COLÓN Film and branded content studio Bindery in New York City has hired Priscilla Colón, who joins the company as head of post. She will be responsible for running the post department, which includes manag- ing a team of full-time and freelance staff, and collab- orating with the creative and production departments to execute on Bindery's integrated script-to-screen model. Bindery's clients include Google, Roman and Bombas. Colón comes to Bindery from global production agency Craft Worldwide, where she spent more than three years as senior producer. While there, she led the Chick-Fil-A post team and produced content for clients that included Microsoft, Mastercard and Coke. Colón started her career as a music and radio producer at JWT NY before moving over to video production at BBDO NY.
