LumaFusion V.3.1 is a free update that significant- ly enhances the professional color workflow experience with the addition of a new Scopes feature. Scopes shows histograms, waveforms and vectorscopes in realtime and in customizable panels. The realtime performance means editors can see results of setting changes immediately and animate them to see results during video playback. All Scopes work for both HDR and SDR color spaces. The update also expands LumaFusion's extensive effects workflow with the ability to add multiple LUTs and effects to any clip simultaneously. This new feature streamlines and accelerates the workflow for creators while giving them freedom to quickly add a signature look to their content. Users can even combine in-camera LUTs and multiple instances of any effect to their footage for highly-stylized, pro-looking sequences. Additional new features in LumaFusion V.3.1 include the ability to reorder audio effects, automatic project backup management, and a new import and restore feature. Version 3.1 also leverages new categorized and searchable keyboard shortcuts available in iOS 15. Numerous workflow improvements have also been made. Dropbox now shows both personal and team folders for accounts that have Team Spaces. There is improved drag & drop and timeline lasso selection when using a trackpad or mouse. Clip representation in the timeline has been improved, and transitions now clearly show their connection to media clips. Improvements have also been added to make editing tasks quicker and easier. LumaFusion V.3.1 is available via the Apple App Store for $29.99. LENOVO INTROS SPACE-SAVING P360 ULTRA WORKSTATION MORRISVILLE, NC — Lenovo (lenovo.com) has introduced the ThinkStation P360 Ultra, which rounds out its portfolio of desktop workstations. The P360 Ultra is half the size of a traditional small form factor desktop workstation, with a chassis of less than 4L in total volume, while still boasting 12th Gen Intel Core processors and support for up to Nvidia RTX A5000 mobile pro- fessional graphics. While companies can still deploy Lenovo's ThinkStation P360 Tiny when ex- treme space-saving is needed, pros now have a powerful and versatile second option. Breaking away from the traditional small form factor workstations, the ThinkStation P360 Ultra was designed from the beginning to support high- end professional components. To do so, Lenovo worked closely with Nvidia to develop a solution to both house the GPU and provide the cooling required to support the RTX A5000 mobile graphics card. They also worked with Intel to create a dual-sided motherboard incorporating 12th Gen Intel Core processors, with up to 16 cores at up to 125 watts. In the new design, the motherboard is positioned in the middle of the chas- sis, allowing for superior cooling and maximum space efficiency when config- uring the workstation. The new system offers up to 128GB of DDR5 memory, two PCIe Gen 4 slots for expandability, and up to 8TB of M.2 storage, along with support for up to eight displays. The ThinkStation P360 Ultra is also one of the first desktop workstations to come equipped with dual onboard ether- net and Thunderbolt 4 ports for maximum flexibility and I/O expansion. The ThinkStation P360 Ultra is fully ISV certified and tested at the highest level to pass MIL-SPEC standards. 'ABBEY ROAD ONE' SAMPLE LIBRARY ADDS 'THEMATIC HORNS' LONDON — Spitfire Audio has released the "Abbey Road One: Thematic Horns" sample library. The new release is the ninth in the "Abbey Road One: Film Scoring Selections" series and the first featuring two legatos. The release features eight horns at its creative core, all of which are capable of fast-run articulations or slower lyrical performances. The sample library is AU-, AAX-, NKS-, VST2- and VST3- compatible, and loads directly into all major digital audio work- stations without the need for any additional software. The Performance Legato patch is designed to be aerobatic and instantly playable, performed with accented attacks at the front of the sustains. The Lyrical Legato patch provides a more measured and deliberate alternative, with a softer entry. The samples were recorded in Abbey Road's Studio One, which is known for its rich tonality and famed reverb. Pricing for "Abbey Road One: Thematic Horns" is $49.00. Other releases in the series include "Orchestral Foundations," "Sparkling Woodwinds," "Legendary Low Strings" and "Wondrous Flutes." Spitfire Audio's namesake Spitfire Audio application allows anyone to buy now and download anytime, and is available for free at www. spitfireaudio.com/info/library-manager.
