1 4 P E R S P E C T I V E | J U L Y / A U G U S T 2 0 1 8 NEWS Gallery 800 Presents Little Bonfires (in boundaried spaces) B Y D A V I D M O R O N G , E D I T O R On Saturday, April 28, Gallery 800 opened a special art exhibit featuring over 30 artists who are Guild members, including Production Designers, Art Directors, Scenic Artists, Graphic Artists, Illustrators, Set Designers and others who work in the motion picture and television industries. Little Bonfires (in boundaried spaces) is a unique, mixed-media group show which is inspired by the poetic vision of the passionate, firebrand artist; working solo, but not alone. Gallery 800's exhibition spotlights the artwork of two legendary Production Designers: BAFTA-nominated artist Brian Eatwell, whose credits include such legendary films as The Abominable Dr. Phibes, The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Three Musketeers, The Four Musketeers and Wired; and John V. Cartwright, Emmy- nominated designer who worked on An Officer and a Gentleman, The Winds of War, First Monday in October and Kiss Me Goodbye. The featured guest artist is John V. Cartwright's daughter, Angela Cartwright, a multi-talented fine artist, actress and child star best known for her roles in The Sound of Music, Lost in Space, Make Room for Daddy, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Logan's Run, among many others.
