She crafts unique emotional landscapes for every story. Beachler most recently designed for director Ryan Coogler on Marvel's Black Panther. She previously collaborated with Coogler on Creed, the spinoff from the Rocky film series, starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan; and Fruitvale Station, 2013's Sundance Film Festival breakout and winner of the Prix de L'Avenir in the Un Certain Regard competition at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and forty-five other nominations and awards. Beachler, who is based in New Orleans, is also known for her work with Barry Jenkins on Moonlight, Beyoncé's stunning visual concept album Lemonade, Don Cheadle's Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead, the Darren Aronofsky-produced Zipper and the horror remake of The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Over the span of just twelve months in 2011, Beachler created sets for no less than eight features, including Seconds Apart; Scream of the Banshee, Quarantine 2: Terminal and Worst. Prom. Ever. Other titles she worked on include Hateship Loveship, starring Kristen Wiig and Guy Pearce; and the thriller Samuel Bleak, directed by Dustin Dugas Schuetter J U D Y B E C K E R is an Academy Award- nominated Production Designer. A native New Yorker, Becker began her film career in New York's fertile independent film community. The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is Becker's second collaboration with Ryan Murphy, the first being Feud: Bette and Joan. Becker's career, prior to working with Murphy, centers around narrative feature films. She is a frequent collaborator of Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, David O. Russell and Todd Haynes. Her second collaboration with Dayton and Faris was the timely Battle of the Sexes. American Hustle, for which Becker received both Oscar and BAFTA nominations, was one of her four collaborations with David O. Russell, including The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook and Joy. Carol, for which she received her second BAFTA nomination, was her second collaboration with Todd Haynes; she also designed the lauded Bob Dylan story, I'm Not There. When not working in Los Angeles or on location, Becker lives on Manhattan's Upper West Side with her husband, the editor Michael Taylor. J O E C E L L I hails from Massachusetts where he graduated from Emerson College with a degree in jazz hands (musical theatre). Years of work as a prop master in regional theater eventually led him on a path to Los Angeles where he began working as a production assistant in the Art Department on Babylon 5. He quickly found himself learning from and working alongside some of the best visual storytellers in the business, including John Myhre and Roy Christopher. He is the recipient of five Emmy awards for his work on live musicals (Grease Live, Hairspray Live) and The Oscars.
