Heineken USA Appoints Matthew Kahn Vice President of Marketing, Portfolio Brands Heineken USA has appointed Matthew Kahn Vice President of Marketing for Portfolio Brands. In his new role, Kahn will be responsible for leading the development and execution of brand strategy, media and public relations for Dos Equis, Newcastle Brown Ale, Amstel and the recently acquired Strongbow Cider brand. Kahn will manage the selection of creative agencies, the development of creative content, the negotiation of merchandising opportunities and media placements. In addition, he will oversee brand-related events and sponsorships, non-retail sampling and media relations. Prior to joining Energy Brands, Inc./glacèau, Kahn worked at The Coca-Cola Company, managing the marketing for several top global brands including Coca-Cola Classic, Sprite, Nestea and a variety of sports and energy drinks. 14 / the tasting panel / october 2012 McCabe will be responsible for the implementation and success of Precept's Wine Portfolio across key accounts in North America. Sara Morscheck – VP, National Accounts Morscheck cemented Precept's early relationships with Total Wine, Fresh Market and Cost Plus, and opened channels for its innovation and exclusive programs. She will continue with select chain account programs, and develop deeper relationships in the Midwest and South. NEW HIRES Mark Harmann – Senior VP of Sales - West A wine industry veteran who most recently served as Portfolio Vice President for Southern Wine and Spirits in Seattle, Harmann will lead Precept portfolio sales in the West. Ryan Sullivan – Regional Director of Sales - New England. Responsible for eight states in the Mid-Atlantic, Sullivan reports to Chad Lapp, SVP Sales - East.
