Online Safety Training Now Available to Meet the New Mandatory Requirements for AD/UPM and AD/SMs DGA Holds Membership Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1 2 4 3 photos by Kayla Garretson On August 2, more than a dozen DGA members from the surrounding area attended the Guild's membership meeting in Philadelphia, PA. The gathering was an opportunity for these members to hear updates about the newly negotiated DGA Basic Agreement that went into effect in July, learn more about what the Guild is doing to protect and extend their creative and economic rights, and hear reports from DGA Assistant Executive Director Michael Berger and Director of Local Stations Vincent Torregiano. The meeting was part of the Guild's ongoing efforts to serve members residing outside Los Angeles and New York. Berger and Torregiano discussed the current state of the Guild and its activities, as well as local matters and invited the attendees to contribute during an open forum section where questions were answered and comments welcomed. photos: 1. Annual Membership Information Update DGA Awards season is rapidly approaching, and it's that time of year again where we ask all of our members to review their contact information on file with us. To ensure the proper delivery of your Awards screeners, screening notices and all other Guild communications, you will soon receive an e-mail asking you to confirm that your address and mailing preferences are up-to-date. Or Review Your Contact Information in Three Easy Steps: 1. Log in to the DGA Website and click on the "Account Settings" link 2. Click the "Address Settings" tab to review your address and mailing preferences and to make changes if necessary. You may also choose to share your private address information with the DGA Health and Pension plans with the click of a button. 3. Also be sure to click on the "Overview" and "Profile" tabs to verify that all your other contact information on file is accurate (e.g., email address, agent, production center, credits, etc.) This is also a good opportunity to review which contact information you want to be publicly available on your online member profile for potential employers, and what information you want to be private (for Guild use only). For login assistance call Web Support at (310) 289-2082 (Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) or email dgawebsupport@dga.org See more photos from this event online at www.dga.org.
