Par- ticularly as our cover girl, Taylor, will not only be a Walk for Wishes spokesperson, but a virtual walker with a goal of raising $5000 to gift a Wish to another ill child in OC. (The event goal is to raise $250k, enough funds to grant 50 wishes to local Wish Kids.) Walk for Wishes is a family-friendly event that includes a one mile walk and a World of Wishes festival where people can ex- perience each type of wish (to have, to go, to be, to meet and to give). There are also games, food, entertainment, prizes and more. Registration is $25 and includes T-shirt, walk entry and access to events festivities. All proceeds go towards granting the wishes of local children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Attend- ees of the event also have the opportunity to meet many of the Wish Alumni, like Taylor, attending the event.
