Fun activities include hayride, egg basket toss, carnival games, cookie decorating and, of course, train rides. The main events, however, are the photos with the Easter Bunny and the Eas- ter Egg Hunts (the hunts are scheduled at specifi c times for specifi c age groups). Check the Irvine Park Railroad's website for more details on the schedule and all the attractions. The "egg-citement" taking place in Tanager Park will include pony rides, a bounce house-style obstacle course, jel- lybean and coloring contests and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Placentia's Kramer Park is the place to be for some "egg-citing" springtime fun. The main attraction will be the children's egg hunt games, which will be- gin at 9:30 am for ages 4 and younger and children with special needs. The time for youngsters 5-7 years old will be 10:30 am- 11:30 am, followed by 8-12 year olds at 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The Skateboarding Bunny returns to the Skatepark's popular Egg Hunt, which has a hunt zone for chil- dren ages 4 and younger along with an all- ages hunt zone. Besides the bounce houses, crafts and games, the fun includes a "Color Blast," so wear clothes that can get dirty. Pre- registration is required, and the entry fee in- cludes the egg hunt, jumpers, games, crafts, and color blast. The Easter Bunny can be found at Oak Knoll Park today, as well as crafts, games and the always popular Egg Hunt. The hunt opens for kids 3 and younger at 10:15 am and begins at 10:30 am for the 4-5 year olds, 10:45 am for those 6-7 and 11 am for 8-11 year olds. Whether you run seri- ously or for fun, there is a race for you to take part in day. The Wild Hare 5K is recommend- ed for serious runners. The Easter-themed Rabbit Run is actually a 3.1-mile Easter egg hunt where you will pick up prizes at each sta- tion. There will photos with the Easter Bunny at the fi nish line too as well as other goodies for participants. Both locations will have other family activities, like kids' relay games, a puppet show and visits from the Easter Bunny too.
