The doors open to a vast, bustling wine bar featuring the many brands of the Riboli Family Wine Estates, as well as an incredible selection of imported wines, spirits and specialty food products. Just past the Bistro and Gift Shop is the Maddalena Restaurant. The popular 200-seat eatery was already filling up for lunch when we arrived. Historical remnants of old redwood casks, antique portraits, photos and newspaper cuttings pepper the space. Without this, curious visitors might never have known that a booming wine industry once existed in the heart of Los Angeles. Riboli Creston Vineyard, Creston District, Paso Robles.
